SPENCE joined Galahad at the age of 16 and had only been in a few
Youth Club bands before hand. In fact Galahad auditioned SIX drummers
at the same time, and even got them all to play at once on a Rock
and Roll medley, which as you can imagine sounded pretty awful as
well as extremely loud. Needless to say Spence was the best and
joined the band. For his first rehearsal he had no transport and
had to pull his Drum Kit in a trailer to the rehearsal from his
house!!
