DECADE (1997)

DECADE (1997)

37747 (BlueStone Records)

German compilation of tracks from first three albums; now deleted.

Decade
was an initiative from the now-defunct German label BlueStone Records. It's essentially a "best of" album covering the period prior to Following Ghosts, with music culled from Nothing is Written, In a Moment of Complete Madness and Sleepers (with a live version of Sleepers' Dentist Song which was recorded at the same time as the material which ended up on the Classic Rock Live album).

The full track listing is:

Face to The Sun / Don't Lose Control / Ghost Of Durtal / Room 801 / Amaranth / Dentist Song (live version) / Exorcising Demons / Middleground / Richelieu's Prayer

Distribution was initially arranged for Germany itself and surrounding nations, with longer-term plans for Scandinavia and Japan, but sadly BlueStone bit the dust shortly after the album's release, and so the project was scuppered.

Reviews of Decade, for what they're worth now (!), appeared here at Rockhaven (UK), and here at Endless Music (Sweden).
