 M E M O R A B I L I A

A Galahad scrapbook, if you will, of old (and not-so-old) newsletters, flyers, tickets, setlists, etc., arranged from top to bottom in (roughly) the order they appeared. There's a lot of stuff here, so please be patient while it all downloads.... You may care to view this page in conjunction with the Band History.

[If you have something you'd care to contribute to this page (already scanned or otherwise digitised), please e-mail it to . Thanks.]

(Stu N writes: "This gig was interesting as it was the first time we had met Karl, who at that time was playing for Esprit (who were a kind of MOR/Rock band a la Dare/FM (with very BIG hair!!). In fact Roy and me were very impressed with his keyboard setup as he had one of the best church organ sounds we'd ever heard!! Ironically, once they started playing for real you couldn't hear Karl as the rest of the band, in particular the guitarist (surprise, surprise!!), was so loud!! Little did we know that less than 3 years later he would be playing for us!!")

(Galahad wrote a 25-minute classical/rock medley to coincide with this advertised fireworks display. Stu N says: "A reasonable desk recording of this gig exists and we might consider releasing it on CD as an official bootleg at some point, possibly as part our envisaged Archive Series.")

(This ticket is for the first ever Galahad gig abroad, at the Espace Curial in Paris in 1991.)

(This ad appear in Kerrang! issue 350 (June 1991), and was contributed by Doug of the Rock Reviews and official John Young websites.)

(Another one from Doug, this bitter letter appeared in Kerrang! issue 351 (July 1991).)

(Contributed by Doug, this article is from Kerrang! issue 308 (February 1992).)

(These Whitchurch '93 items are courtesy of Doug. His Rock Reviews website carries an interesting punters-eye section dedicated to the Whitchurch Festival, which well worth a read.)

(This is a screenshot of the opening page of the original Room 801, which was launched in August 1996 and was maintained by Galafan Michel Schudel. Its News page here offers an interesting insight into events in the band's life as they unfolded in the period 1996 to 2001.)

(Another ticket courtesy Doug, this one from 1999.)

(Poster for the 1999 Planet Pul bash from Bert van Rijssen.)

(Flyers for De Lantaarn gig from Bert van Rijssen.)

(As used at the Dutch and Belgian gigs in March 2002.)
