Pete Wallbridge (Bass Guitar) 2002 - 2004

[Pending ...!]

Neil Pepper (Bass Guitar) 1993 - 2001

Neil appears to have disengaged entirely from the music industry; last heard to be earning a living as a motorcycle riding instructor!

Tim Ashton (Bass Guitar) 1989 - 1992

Tim now lives in Fukuoka in Japan, where he teaches English. He manages to visit Blighty about once a year and even managed to get himself on to Year Zero by turning up at the very last mixing session, laughing in the background at one point, which was inadvertently recorded!!

He has played in a number of Heavy Rock/Metal bands out in the land of the rising sun (including a Black Sabbath tribute act) but now has his own band, Dr. Funkinstein.

An up-to-date profile of Tim is on the Dr. Funkinstein website here.

On Tim's trips back to the UK, he's played at the Galahad 10th anniversary bash in Wimborne in 1995 along with the regular line up at the time and some other past band members, and also at Stu's wedding on May 31, 1997.

Karl Garrett (Keyboards) 1991 -1996/7

Karl emigrated to Australia with his wife and children in 1999, but still keeps in regular contact with the band members. He is currently studying a music/teaching degree in Queensland, where he lives with his family. He also still gigs occasionally. There is a good chance that he will contribute to the next Galahad album, using the wonders of modern long distance technology!! He is still very much into music especially of the 'Progressive' kind. Karl also last performed with Galahad at Stu's wedding in May 1997. Ironically Dean was also at Stu's wedding and was the official keyboard player of the band but had not learned any of the songs at that point so he could not perform with band!!

Mark Andrews (Keyboards) 1988 - 1991

Mark continues to write and record his own material and socialises with the current band members occasionally. He attended the Galahad Christmas 2001 bash, and last performed with Galahad at Stu's Wedding on May 31, 1997.

Update March 2004 from Mark himself:

I'm now training as an optician in Christchurch [Dorset UK]. Skywalkers [Mark's project with Spencer and Neil Pepper] was disbanded in 1999 but I still write under the monicker Free:16 and lead worship at King's Church, Ringwood. Under the Free:16 banner I've released one album, "Songs from the Belly of a Big Fish", which can be ordered from the Cross Rhythms Website [here] and am working on a follow-up.

Pat McAnn (Bass Guitar) 1988 - 1989

Pat is credited with Bass Guitar on a couple of tracks on In a Moment of Complete Madness. Still lives locally, earning a living as a postman (has worked with Spence coincidentally).

Paul Watts (Bass Guitar) 1985 - 1988

Paul was the original Galahad bass player, he still lives in the Bournemouth area and to the best of our knowledge plays the occasional cover band gig. He also drove for Galahad on tour a few times. He last played with the band at the 10th anniversary gig at the Allendale Centre in Wimborne on July 29, 1995.

Mike Hewetson (Keyboards) 1987 - 1988

Mike replaced both Nick and Mike inadvertently when Nick had already left the band but Mike Hooker was supposed to play alongside Mike Hewetson at a gig at Ferndown Upper School on March 7, 1987. Unfortunately it was a baptism of fire for Mike Hewetson as Mike Hooker did not turn up and we haven't seen or heard from him since!! Mike has been involved with several projects since leaving Galahad and still writes, records and plays his own material, much of it with a more 'Hawkwind' orientated sound. The last time he played with Galahad was at the band's 10th anniversary gig.

Nick Hodgson (Keyboards) 1985 -1987

Left the band as he had to move out of the Dorset area because of his job, but has recently moved back to the Poole area and met up with Stu and Roy. Still has all his equipment except the Mellotron gear! His final gig with Galahad was at Mr C's in Poole, Dorset on March 26, 1987. Also on the bill was Haze, with whom a joint rendition of Afterglow was performed.

Mike Hooker (Keyboards) 1985 - 1987

The other original keyboard player. Left the band and disappeared. Tried to locate him for the 10th anniversary gig with no joy. However, he was tracked down via the Friends Reunited site in September 2002, and has since spoke with Stu N. Currently working for a bank in the Bournemouth/Poole area.

Paddy O'Callaghan (Drums) 1985 - 1987

Left under a cloud, for reasons which will not be divulged and consequently emigrated to Australia which is where the trail runs cold....

John O'Callaghan (Rhythm Guitar) 1985 - 1986

Paddy's brother and friend of Roy's, left the band and as far as we know never played in a band again. Still lives in Christchurch, Dorset.

Sarah Quilter

Sarah appears regularly on Galahad releases these days, playing flute, sax, clarinet and singing a bit as well although she isn't a full time official member of the band and has never gigged with us, but one day she will we hope!!

Other occasional players/deps etc. included: Pete Hibbit - Drums, Nick Simon - Bass Guitar, John Lovell - Drums, Paul Beavis - Percussion, Kathy Smythe (Karl's Mum) - Operatic vocals, Peter Bradshaw - Bass Guitar, Craig Wilson - Guitar, Marc McWilliam - Drums, Sam Cooper - Back-up vocals, Steve ?????? - Drums.
