As part of our series of Summer shows to celebrate our 40th anniversary we will finish off at the Nene Valley Rock Festival on Saturday 6th September. It would be great to see a few of you there to support us as well as the festival. :-)

Not long to go now……

HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone.

After what has been a quiet few months we now have an important and exciting announcement:

Incredibly, 2025 is the 40^th anniversary of the formation of Galahad. Where has the time gone?

So, as we are still here, just about (!) we thought it appropriate to organise a few special shows in the UK and Europe to celebrate this remarkable achievement.

These will include a very special show at the 1865 in Southampton on Saturday 21^st June 2025 which will also include special guests Alan Reed and his band 'The Daughters of Expediency, ‘League of Lights’ featuring Richard West from Threshold and ‘Tiger Moth Tales’ solo featuring the incredibly talented and somewhat ubiquitous Peter Jones/ Tiger Moth Tales plus ourselves of course performing (mostly) a longer set than normal featuring music and songs from across the years as well as the odd special guest joining us on stage.

It would be wonderful to see a few of you at these shows to help celebrate Galahad’s music from over the years as well as this not inconsiderable milestone. 😊

2025 Dates confirmed so far are:

6^th June - Spirit of 66, Verviers, Belgium

7^th June  - De Boerderij, Zoetermeer, The Netherlands

8^th June – Das Rind, Russelsheim, Germany

21^st June – 1865, Southampton, England - ‘A Midsummer Festival ’ 40th Anniversary show

24^th August - The Old Rectory, Sutton Benger, Wiltshire

6^th September – Nene Valley Rock Festival, Grimsthorpe Castle, Lincs, England

Hopefully more dates to be added and information to follow.

After a prolonged period of unavailability, our 2012 Battle Scars album has been reissued on CD, courtesy of our friends at 'Oskar' in Poland. This version contains an extra bonus track ‘Seize the Day (Alternative single version)’ which now features a fabulous guitar solo by Lee Abraham on the run out.

This is also the first time that this particular version of 'Seize the Day' has been available in a physical format.

We are very pleased to announce that we will be playing only our second UK show this year on Sunday the 3^rd November at the 1865 in Southampton where we will be welcoming special guest Colin Masson who, as a member of The Morrigan, last played with us 30 years ago at King Arthur’s Court in Bournemouth as part of a fundraiser for the Tivoli Theatre in Wimborne, which has now been up and running again for many years!

Just a quick update to let everyone know that GALAHAD will probably only be playing a couple of shows in the UK this year but they will be full shows, the first that we have played here since 2019!

The first show will be at the well renowned 'Prog for Peart' festival in Abingdon which takes place on the weekend of 12/13th July and includes performances from no less than 14 bands!

We will be playing on the evening of Friday 12th July. Other bands performing over the weekend include IO Earth, Comedy of Errors, League of Lights, Spriggan Mist plus many more.

As well as providing two days of prime 'Prog' entertainment the festival, as the name suggest, is also raising money for brain cancer, a very worthy cause indeed.

So if you love your prog/rock etc. please come on down we'd love to see you there and your support for the festival would be much appreciated.

We are very pleased and excited to announce yet another live show in Europe where we will performing at the Ostrow Rock Festival on Sunday 28th July and look forward to seeing a few of our Polish fans in the crowd.

We just had to share this:

If you like Galahad, their music and in particular 'The Long Goodbye' and have a few minutes to spare please watch this video and then share if you can. We came across this purely by chance and although it is not an official Galahad video, but it sums up perfectly the nature and sentiment of the song and let's just say that these eyes were not dry by the end.

Let alone the fact that somebody has spent so much time and effort listening to and understanding the song and then putting together a 13 minute video together, we thank you, whoever you are, for this truly touching and incredibly poignant film.
